Response to Intervention (RTI)

Assessment

A multi-step approach schools use to identify and support students with learning difficulties. Students receive increasingly intensive levels of instruction and are monitored for progress. RTI data can be part of the evaluation process.

Response to Intervention comes up across the IEP process — in your IEP document, during meeting prep, and in the federal rights that protect your child. IEP Ally explains where it shows up and what to do about it.
